Mayor, council, regional district directors, school trustees, Islands Trust and park boards for every community in BC. Pick a place, see who is running, score them on the issues you care about, and build your own ballot.
Every candidate, elector organization, ward or area, previous-office status and acclamation comes from CivicInfo BC's unofficial province-wide list at localelections.ca, last updated . It covers 256 local governments: 162 municipalities, 27 regional districts, 60 school districts, the Islands Trust and 6 park boards and local commissions. CivicInfo BC notes that where its list differs from a local government's or school district's own list, the local list is correct. Contact details were left out on purpose. Campaign websites are shown only where the candidate listed one.
When the number of candidates is no more than the number of seats, those candidates are elected without a vote. The page marks those races and candidates.
Public mayoral polls were found for Vancouver, Surrey, Richmond, Burnaby and Coquitlam only. Each is shown as its firm published it, with the basis (decided voters or all respondents including undecided), dates, sample, sponsor and a source link. Some numbers come from news reports of the poll rather than the firm's own release, and two polls were paid for by an elector organization that is running candidates; both are labelled. No averaging or projection is done for local races, because there are too few polls.
Picks, issue weights and scores are saved only in your own browser. They are never sent anywhere and nobody else can see them.
This site is a demonstration only. Its data, polls and scores may be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and should not be relied upon by anyone for any purpose, including deciding how to vote. Your local government's official candidate list is the authority. Find it through localelections.ca or your city, regional district or school district.
